The mini Vaca before the waves...

I always love our mini vacations to Vermont. I inevitably feel at peace, relaxed and ready to conquer anything God throws at me. It's a time for me to reflect and set my heart. I feel like every time before a deployment we have made a trip up here and it is such a great blessing to be able to do that. I am really thankful to be around family before and during the deployment. This will be a fun, focused summer for me and the boys.....stay tuned :) 

A weekend to remember and reflect....

This weekend was a very special weekend. We took time to remember all who gave the ultimate sacrifice. I thank God every single day my husband has made it back but a lot of my friends husbands, brothers, fathers, uncles, boyfriends have not. We should remember them and their familes every day. We should take an extra step, extra card, extra text, an extra "How can I help you?"

"What can I do as an American to support our soldiers and their families". I read an article over the weekend and it gave some great points to remember and maybe try as Americans beyond the watermelons and flags. Take time to check the link out.

MAY 23, 2015... The new season

I've decided to start blogging again... I don't know why because I feel like life with two boys, the military and my attention span won't be able to handle it,  but I'm giving a go of it.... Again. Please excuse my Grammer,  I don't write papers anymore unless they are ABC's papers or papers about Batman,  spiderman or Thomas the number 4 man in my life in this season. Talking about seasons... Our little family is another adventure at this very moment I write this post. Our time in Missouri has come to an end and our adventure is about to begin... Again in Vermont and Boston. God be with us all!
